I am in awe at the styling of this shoot. The outfits are incredibly well suited to the model(Julia Nobis's) looks and oh lord don't get me started on her hair. I want the front of my own hair just like this now thought I fear it mightn't work quite a well in my own disheveled mane. (I'm also not going to lie.... both my mother and I though Julia Nobis was a man at first. I couldn't find the models name for ages and was surprised to learn she was in fact female. That's how great the styling is. She's so androgynous she was mistaken for a man but some how I think that's the effect that was set out to be achieved. Kudos!)
I also love the new Chanel promo photos starring Cara Delevingne and Saskia de Brauw I think the mix between old regal style and the young, fresh faced models who don the beautifully timeless pieces is a really great show of the Channel brand. Using models like Cara Delevingne who is well know to a younger generation is a great ploy by Chanel to capture a younger generations hearts while still maintaining the integrity of the brand as one that will forever stand the test of time. Furthermore any label that use Kiera Knightly in ads are forever favorites of mine
In other news I am another year older as of midnight. I'm currently in love with tailoring and this has led to me spending some of my birthday cash on a beautifully fitted jacket (Wine and navvy and a 20s inspired shirt with faux leather collar. (I don't have a good pic but you can see my horrid shots here) I've also go a Wreck This Journal which I have wanted for forever so I'm thrilled. Anyways, I'm off to watch some crime dramas.
