Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Daily all-in-one B.B. Cream
I'm lazy as hell. I dislike putting on make-up but hate leaving the house with-out it. Being an avid reader of a number of beauty blogs,I noticed people talking about BB creams and though - ideal. I first tried Nivia's Tinted Moisturizer in it's lightest shade but alas it made me quite orange and it has a horrible, sticky consistency. I'm a real Irish lass - I have idiotically pale skin and freckles and so need really light make up. I then bought Garnier's BB cream in shade light. It's still a little dark but when blended with a tiny bit of loose powder and/or my moose foundation, it's really great. It's light and almost as if your not wearing make-up. It also smells amazing! It's a perfect winter product - quick and simple to use. It also works really well as concealer under foundation for freckles and bags under your eyes!
essence mousse foundation
I love Essence. They're cheap and cheerful and at only €3.99, their Mousse foundation is a steal. It's simple to apply and has a great consistency. It also doesn't have a clinical scent that a lot of foundation I've tried had. It has great coverage too and their lightest shade suits my skin tone to perfection. It also doesn't give your face a shiny look and blends very naturally. It's a must have if you're as pale as me and don't have the money to buy expensive make up but still want to try a moose.
The Natural Collection - Translucent loose powder
I was once in love with Rimmel's renew and lift powder but they have since discontinued it and broke my little heart in doing so. I then tried Rimmel's Silky Loose Powder which does not live up to it's name. It sits on your skin odd and drives me crazy. My Friend recommended The Natural Collection's powder but I scoffed. Something that cheap couldn't actually work but I was wrong. It's nice and simple. It also lives up to the brand name of feeling natural on your skin.
Rimmel Match Perfecter Concealer
This is absolutely great at hiding spots and blemishes as well as taking away any redness that may appear on the skin. It also works great to brighten the area under your eyes, so if you suffer from horrible bags like I do, it's perfect. It also comes with a nice little applicator with makes it easy to apply.
Essence - Get Big Lashes Mascara
Again, another Essence product. I don't like mascara because I have weird eyes that seem to react to any product I put near them so i try to wear as little as possible near them. For this reason I don't usually wear eyeliner or eye shadows but I do like the look of mascara on my eyes. This is a great little product. It's another cheapy, but it does it's job nicely. It has a large wand and while it may not be the best quality, it succeeds in giving my eyes the mascaraed look. It also doesn't clump so it gives a natural look.
So there, a quick guide to my favorite make-up. I'm not good with make up and will never be an artist so please excuse my horrid descriptions.
